Summary
This study looks at how care in the emergency department (ED) affects short-term survival for adults who had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital. Researchers will analyze data from 6000 patients to see if the timing of treatments like EKGs and medications makes a difference. The goal is to find ways to improve survival and brain function after cardiac arrest.
