First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how care in the emergency department (ED) after a cardiac arrest affects short-term survival. Researchers will review records from 6,000 adults who had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital and were revived in the ED. They want to see if the timing of treatments like EKGs and CT scans helps more patients survive to be admitted to the hospital and live for at least a week.
