Can a video call replace your Pre-Birth anesthesia check?

NCT ID NCT07542197

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a video call (teleconsultation) works as well as an in-person visit for checking pregnant patients before they receive anesthesia during delivery. About 250 first-time mothers will take part, and researchers will compare how complete and accurate the information gathered is between the two methods. The goal is to see if telemedicine can be a safe and convenient option without compromising care.
