ECMO patients: which kidney filter setup lasts longer?

Summary
This study looks at patients on a heart-lung machine (ECMO) who also need kidney dialysis. It compares two ways to connect the dialysis machine: directly into the ECMO circuit or using a separate line. The goal is to see which method keeps the dialysis filter working longer and causes fewer complications. About 158 adults will take part.
