Inclusion Criteria: Patients scheduled for elective abdominal surgery under genral anesthesia. Exclusion Criteria: * patients with dyspnoea * unstable angina, * severe valvular heart disease * anticipated or unanticipated difficult airway management * suspected increased intra-abdominal pressure * poor echogenicity.
