Scientists measure bite force to help mouth cancer survivors eat better

NCT ID NCT07390942

Summary

This study aims to understand how well mouth cancer patients can eat after surgery when using a special dental plate called an obturator. Researchers will measure 40 participants' tongue strength and biting force, then compare these measurements to what they actually eat each day. The goal is to learn how to improve eating ability and overall quality of life for people recovering from mouth cancer surgery.
