Researchers probe how mouth cancer survivors regain their bite

NCT ID NCT07390942

Summary

This study aims to understand how mouth cancer patients who have had surgery and use a special dental plate (an obturator) are able to eat. Researchers will measure 40 participants' tongue strength and biting force and compare these to what they eat daily. The goal is to learn how to better help these patients improve their eating ability and overall quality of life.
