New writing therapy aims to ease fear in advanced cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a new program called EASE, which uses a simple writing exercise to help adults with advanced cancer manage their fear of the future and related trauma symptoms. The study will include 250 people with advanced solid tumors, glioblastoma, or certain ovarian or lung cancers. Participants will either receive the EASE program via telehealth or continue with their usual care, and researchers will compare changes in fear and quality of life.
