First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether starting weight bearing and active knee exercises soon after surgery for a tibial plateau fracture (a type of knee break) helps reduce pain, improve knee movement, and aid healing. About 28 adults aged 18-50 who had a specific fracture type fixed with plates and screws will take part. One group will begin early weight bearing and active exercises, while the other will start with passive movement and delayed weight bearing.
