NCT ID NCT04543201

First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether early telehealth visits can help patients with aggressive brain tumors (high-grade glioma) discuss and document their end-of-life wishes soon after diagnosis. About 50 patients and their families will take part in these video or phone visits, guided by a special checklist. Researchers will track how many complete an advance directive and compare outcomes to similar patients, aiming to improve care and satisfaction.
