This study looked at whether bringing in a supportive and palliative care team early can improve quality of life for adults with acute leukemia that has come back for the first time. 49 participants were split into two groups: one received early, standardized supportive care, and the other received usual care. The main goal was to measure changes in quality of life and symptoms like pain, depression, and anxiety.
