First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether early, one-on-one physical therapy — including education and graded activity — helps people recover better after lumbar spinal fusion surgery. Researchers will track 12 adults with chronic low back pain to see if this approach improves their ability to reach personal goals, reduces pain, and increases physical activity. The goal is to find a better way to support recovery after surgery.
