NCT ID NCT07205874
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks for early signs of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) in people who have a specific antibody (AMA) in their blood but normal liver enzyme levels (ALP). Researchers will perform a liver biopsy and special blood tests on 80 adults aged 18-80 to find factors that predict early PBC. The goal is to diagnose the disease sooner, before standard tests show a problem.
