Giving toddlers with severe CP the keys to move: study tests early mobility training
NCT ID NCT07220590
Summary
This study is testing a training program for therapists to help them use powered mobility devices with very young children who have severe cerebral palsy. The goal is to see if this training helps therapists successfully use these devices in home and early childhood settings, and if families and children find the approach helpful. Researchers will look at whether children show benefits in their ability to move, participate, and engage with their surroundings.
