Giving toddlers with severe CP a chance to explore: new training aims to get them moving sooner

NCT ID NCT07220590

Summary

This study is testing a training program for therapists to help them use powered mobility devices (like small powered wheelchairs) with very young children who have severe cerebral palsy. The goal is to see if this training helps therapists successfully use these devices with children in their homes and early childhood programs, and whether families and children find it helpful. Researchers will also look for any benefits to the children's mobility, engagement, and participation in daily life.
