NCT ID NCT06644144

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This observational study aims to find early warning signs (biomarkers) that can predict when lung scarring (fibrosis) will get worse in people with various interstitial lung diseases. Researchers will follow 450 adults with conditions like idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or other fibrotic lung diseases, using blood tests, lung function tests, CT scans, and breath analysis. The goal is to better understand who is at risk for rapid decline and to improve future treatment decisions.
