Blood test holds promise for early pancreatic tumor detection

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test that looks at DNA fragments to find pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors early and to tell them apart from other solid pancreatic tumors. Researchers will enroll 1000 adults with certain pancreatic tumors who haven't had treatment yet. The goal is to see how accurate the test is at detecting and distinguishing these tumors.
