First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study checks if a 6-month parent coaching program for families of deaf or hard-of-hearing toddlers (12-18 months old) leads to better language, reading, and social skills when the children reach elementary school. Researchers will compare 88 children who got the coaching to those who didn't, using tests and video recordings done remotely. The goal is to see if early parent support has lasting benefits.
