NCT ID NCT05943834

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is developing a computer algorithm that can detect early Alzheimer's disease by analyzing a person's voice and speech patterns. Researchers will compare speech recordings from 100 adults aged 50 and older with existing brain and spinal fluid tests. If successful, this could lead to a simple, non-invasive way to screen for Alzheimer's, avoiding painful procedures like spinal taps.
