NCT ID NCT05943834
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study is developing a computer algorithm that analyzes speech patterns to detect early Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will compare voice recordings from 100 adults aged 50 and older with existing brain and spinal fluid tests. If successful, this could replace painful lumbar punctures and expensive PET scans with a simple voice test.
