Summary

This study looks at whether starting an automated insulin delivery (AID) system within two weeks of a type 1 diabetes diagnosis helps young patients manage their blood sugar more easily. Sixteen youth newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes will be offered the system and followed for one year. The goal is to see if early use leads to better glucose control and long-term continued use.
