First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing everyday tasks with a broken wrist (while in a cast) helps people recover function and feel less pain. About 64 adults with a wrist fracture treated with a cast will be split into two groups: one gets tips on how to safely use their hand, the other gets only standard cast care instructions. Their progress will be tracked for 3 months using hand function tests and pain scales.
