Smokers switch: can E-Cigs or pouches cut cigarette use?
NCT ID NCT06372899
Summary
This study aims to see if e-cigarettes or oral nicotine pouches work better to help persistent smokers reduce their cigarette smoking. Researchers will enroll 200 adult smokers who have tried to quit before but haven't succeeded. Participants will be randomly assigned to use either e-cigarettes or nicotine pouches instead of cigarettes for 6 weeks, while researchers measure changes in cigarette use and exposure to harmful chemicals.
