Summary
This study examined lung cells from 66 smokers to see how switching to e-cigarettes or nicotine replacement therapy changes the lungs. Researchers used a camera down the airway to collect samples and look for early signs of cancer. The goal was to understand the health effects of e-cigarettes, not to treat any disease.
