Triple-Drug attack shows promise against aggressive breast cancer

NCT ID NCT03820141

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug durvalumab to two standard targeted drugs (trastuzumab and pertuzumab) can shrink tumors more effectively in people with a specific, aggressive type of breast cancer called HER2-enriched. About 51 women with this cancer will receive the combination before surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients have little or no cancer remaining in the breast after treatment.
