Can grid therapy reboot immunotherapy for lung cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT05443971

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested whether combining the immunotherapy drug durvalumab with a special type of radiation called grid therapy could help patients with non-small cell lung cancer whose cancer had stopped responding to durvalumab alone. Only 4 patients were enrolled before the study was stopped early. The main goal was to check safety and side effects, not to prove effectiveness.
