Summary
This study tested a technique called cold snare to collect larger pieces of tissue from the duodenum during a routine endoscopy. Researchers wanted to see if these samples were good enough for detailed analysis, including single cell RNA sequencing. The study involved 13 people already scheduled for an upper GI endoscopy. The goal was to improve tissue collection for future research on duodenal diseases.
