One-Time procedure aims to free patients from daily diabetes pills

Summary

This study is testing a new, one-time endoscopic procedure called duodenal recellularization for people recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if this treatment can help control blood sugar levels without the need for daily diabetes medications. Researchers will follow 40 participants for up to 2 years to check the treatment's safety and how well it works.
