NCT ID NCT07581587

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a type of breathing exercise, called inspiratory muscle training, can improve memory, attention, and thinking in adults with heart failure. 54 participants will be split into three groups: one does standard breathing exercises, one does breathing exercises while also doing a thinking task (dual-task), and one gets no extra training. The goal is to see if these exercises help with brain function, breathing strength, and quality of life.
