New study investigates connection between dry eye and Diabetes-Related vision loss

Summary
This study aims to understand how dry eye disease and diabetic macular edema (a cause of vision loss) are related in people with diabetes. About 50 adults aged 18-60 with diabetes for over 8 years will undergo eye exams and questionnaires. The goal is to improve knowledge, not to test a treatment.
