New study investigates connection between dry eye and Diabetes-Related vision problems

Summary

This study aims to understand how dry eye disease and diabetic macular edema (a swelling in the back of the eye) are related in people with diabetes. About 50 adults with diabetes for over 8 years will have their eyes tested using questionnaires, tear measurements, and imaging. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors better manage these eye conditions together.
