Swiss study tackles overuse of acid reflux drugs

Summary
This study tests a program to help doctors reduce or stop unnecessary acid reflux medications (PPIs) in 400 adults who have been taking them daily for at least 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the program is safe and effective compared to usual care. Participants will be followed for 12 months to monitor symptoms and medication use.
