Summary
This study tested whether dronabinol, a drug similar to cannabis, can help reduce the need for opioid painkillers after knee replacement surgery. 114 adults were randomly assigned to receive either dronabinol or a placebo before and after surgery. Researchers measured opioid use, pain levels, and recovery time to see if dronabinol offered any benefit.
