New disposable scope aims to clear bile duct stones and detect cancer

Summary
This study tests a new, single-use digital scope (Dragonfly™) for treating bile duct stones and taking tissue samples. Up to 75 adults with bile duct stones or narrowings will use this scope during a standard ERCP procedure. The goal is to see how well it breaks up stones and collects samples to diagnose conditions like cancer.
