Summary

This study tests whether a common diabetes medication (a DPP4 inhibitor) can improve thinking and memory after a mild stroke in people with type 2 diabetes. About 312 adults aged 40-75 will take either the drug or a placebo for 180 days. The goal is to see if the drug reduces the risk of post-stroke cognitive impairment.
