First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests if using two defibrillator pads in different positions and giving two quick shocks instead of one can help more people survive a cardiac arrest. It includes 916 adults whose heart stopped outside a hospital and did not respond to the first standard shock. The goal is to see if this approach increases survival at 30 days.
