First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether special glasses with Diffusion Optics Technology can safely slow the worsening of nearsightedness (myopia) in Chinese children. About 175 kids who completed a prior study will wear the glasses for 12 months. The main goal is to see if the lenses reduce eye growth and prevent vision from getting worse.
