First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding the drug dornase alfa (Pulmozyme) to standard stroke treatments (clot-busting medicine and mechanical clot removal) could help fully reopen blocked arteries in the brain. The trial included 39 people with ischemic stroke who were already eligible for clot removal. The goal was to see if the drug could improve blood flow when the mechanical procedure alone was not enough.
