Tracking tiny survivors: how donor milk shapes Preemies' futures
NCT ID NCT01483079
Summary
This study aims to understand how donor human milk affects the long-term growth and brain development of very small premature infants after they leave the hospital. Researchers will follow 51 infants, born weighing 1250 grams or less, who received donor milk. They will track the children's health, size, and development at ages 1-2 years and again at 5 years old through check-ups and standard tests.
