Summary
This study tested whether donepezil, a drug used for dementia, can reduce the severity of chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears). 70 adults with long-term tinnitus received either donepezil or a placebo for 3 months. The main goal was to see if the drug improved tinnitus-related distress and loudness using standard questionnaires.
