Could an Alzheimer's drug slow lewy body dementia?

Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether donanemab, an antibody that clears amyloid plaques, can slow cognitive and functional decline in people with early Lewy body dementia who also have amyloid and alpha-synuclein buildup. About 350 participants will receive donanemab or a placebo for 1.5 years. The study aims to see if the drug helps preserve thinking skills and daily function.
