Could your doctor help you get a tax refund?

NCT ID NCT05612685

Summary

This study tested if doctors and nurses could help low-income parents get tax credits by referring them to a free tax-filing app. Researchers wanted to see if this simple referral was practical and if getting tax money might improve family health. They followed 21 parents in Los Angeles to see if they filed their taxes and checked on their stress and their child's development.
