First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at 163 children aged 7-12 with chronic abdominal pain to see if simple tests (biomarkers) could predict whether they would benefit more from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or a low FODMAP diet. The goal was to personalize treatment and improve symptom relief and quality of life. The study is complete, and results may help doctors choose the right therapy for each child.
