Summary
This study tested whether distance Reiki therapy, delivered via video call, could improve quality of life and possibly affect the immune system in people with multiple myeloma. Thirty patients were divided into groups receiving real Reiki, fake (sham) Reiki, or no additional Reiki. Researchers measured changes in how patients felt and functioned, and looked for any related changes in their immune cells.
