App vs. phone: which triage method guides patients better?

NCT ID NCT06092866

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested whether a digital symptom checker could work as well as a traditional phone call for guiding patients to the right level of care. Researchers planned to include 120 adults from a primary care center, but only 22 took part. The main goal was to see if a larger trial is possible, not to prove which method is better.
