First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a digital program that uses facial recognition to guide mouth and throat exercises for people with mild to moderate sleep apnea. The exercises aim to strengthen airway muscles and improve breathing during sleep. About 60 adults who cannot or will not use standard treatments like CPAP machines will be randomly assigned to the digital therapy or a waitlist. Researchers will measure changes in sleep quality, snoring, and oxygen levels after 3 months.
