First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study will see if a 3D dental scanner can accurately measure plaque on teeth, compared to the traditional method of using a dye and visual check. Twenty adults with at least 20 natural teeth and visible plaque will be scanned before and after brushing. The goal is to develop a faster, more objective way to assess plaque for better dental care.
