First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study will test a new digital method to measure dental plaque using 3D images from an intraoral scanner. Twenty adults will be scanned before and after plaque is stained, and after brushing. The digital results will be compared with traditional plaque scoring to see if the scanner can provide an accurate, modern alternative.
