Summary
This study tested a digital neurotherapy (a computer-based brain-training program) in 36 adults who were either cancer survivors or on dialysis for kidney failure. The goal was to see if it could reduce depression symptoms and improve thinking and quality of life. Participants used the program and completed surveys and thinking tests over several weeks. The study aimed to find out if this approach is practical and helpful for people managing major medical illnesses.
