First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested a digital neurotherapy (a computer-based program) to see if it could help with depression, thinking skills, and quality of life in 36 people with serious illnesses—cancer survivors and patients with end-stage kidney disease on dialysis. Participants were randomly assigned to use the program or not, and researchers measured changes in mood, memory, and attention. The goal was to see if this approach is feasible and effective for managing symptoms.
